Color of Freedom: Journey Along the Underground Railroad
This traveling exhibit features 50 paintings. etchings and drawings by Joseph Holston created to capture the essence of the courage and determination required to escape; and to enhance understanding of the condition of slavery and the powerful instinct toward freedom. Free and open to the public. Half of artwork will be on display at the Brown v. Board, 1515 SE Monroe and half will be on display at the Mulvane Art Museum, 17th & Jewell, Washburn University
